Police are warning about counterfeit cash that is being circulated in Prince Edward’s Island. They were able to identify fake $100 and $50 bills. The fake cash has a low quality, but it is not impossible to overlook it in busy places. Instead of being made of polymer, the fake cash is made of regular paper. They are also smaller than authentic bills.
Police in Prince Edward’s Island advised the public to pay attention to the cash they receive and notify the police about any suspicious bills.
