What you need to know.

One of the main benefits of joining the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) is the “grass roots” approach the CPC has, for member involvement, participations, input and rights. Aside from being personally notified of special notional, regional and local events, a CPC member gets the opportunity to actually vote on important decision. Membership participation, input and voting is key at the bi-annual nation conventions to help establish/advance party policy; And at the local level, and CPC member’s vote is key to help choose which nominee will actually be the candidate in that riding’s election.
In Windsor West, our CPC members will be able to flex their membership influence and voting power to elect their candidate on Sunday June 9th, at Windsor West’s Nomination Night, at the Holiday Inn (1855 Huron Church RD).
5:30pm - DOORS OPEN (Attendees to begin confirming their membership/voting status)
6:00pm - Welcome and O’ Canada
6:15pm - Introduction speeches from nominees (Henry Lau and Rinku Shah)
6:30pm - Debate/Questions from Nominating Committee Moderators
7:00pm - Questions from the audience
7:30pm - Membership voting begins.
by approx. 8:45pm - (after tabulating/verifying the ballot votes, announcement of Windsor West CPC candidate for 2019)
by approx. 9:00pm - Speech from elected WW CPC Candidate
by approx. 9:10pm - MEETING END
This is wonderful grass roots democracy at its best! The CPC is a proud party that cherishes its members’ rights to vote/choose accordingly, within its constitution rules and by-laws.
Our Windsor West CPC EDA is honoured to be hosting this event, and it should be a very exciting evening. Stay tune
